Hanami (Sakura viewing party)

cherry

Hanami is going out to places like parks to appreciate and enjoy the beautifully blooming cherry blossoms.

The traditional custom in Japan, in end of March and April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, many people go to see it with family, colleagues from work or friends. People spread a mat under the cherry blossoms tree, drink Sake and eat something, sing songs.

Viewing cherry tree in the evening is very popular. The freshman of company always tries to keep the place for flower viewing party. When I was freshman, I went to park at 09:00 in the morning to keep the palace and wait until 18:00 in the night. I was sleeping under the cherry tree until my colleague came.
