DAY 1

Dec.27th / Kansai (KIX) / Itami (ITM) airport - Osaka Downtown

Welcome to Osaka! You will be greeted by an English-speaking assistant at the airport. Transfer to your hotel in downtown Osaka with shuttle bus for cheki-in. Dinner under own pax payment.

DAY 2

Dec.28th / Osaka - Nara

Osaka is the second largest city in Japan and serving as a major economic hub for the country.

Osaka castle, first built in the 1580's on the order of Hideyoshi TOYOTOMI, was the largest castle in Japan. Hideyoshi reunified Japan after long war time. After Hideyoshi's death in Osaka castle in 1598, Ieyasu TOKUGAWA took power. Later he attacked Osaka castle, and Hideyoshi's son and mother commited suicide.

The top of this 7 story building conands great views of the city of Osaka, the castle being surrounded bu the walls of huge stones and moats.

Historically a merchant city, Osaka has also been known as the "nation's kitchen".

DAY 3

Dec.29th / Nara - Kyoto

We will start the tour Day3, If you are a drinker, you would love to visit our first stop…the sake brewery! The guide gives you a little tour inside the brewery followed by tasting. We continue the day visiting Kyoto, the heart of Japanese tradition. You will feel that you have time slipped into the world one thousand year ago, when visiting Kiyomizu temple and Golden Pavilion. Next, enjoy the beautiful show with models in kimono. we can't miss one place to visit…"Nijyou castle". The shogun constructed this building when visiting Kyoto until 150 years ago. It's also the place where the last shogun gave his political power back to the Emperor. In the evening you will be taken to Gion in Kyoto "Geisha district" Those who have seen "Memoirs of Geisha" will be fascinated by its shooting spots. The optional tour of Japanese Traditional Art Show including Geisha performance is provided. We stay at a hotel in Kyoto for the night.

DAY 4

Dec.30th / Kyoto - Hamamatsu

We continue the tour visitting Kyoto, we must feel relax to stand Kodaiji Temple, this beautifully constructed shrine is well balance with nature maintaining a Japanese and Zen Garden with a Bamboo Forest. It is this location overlooking the scenery that you will be taking lessons in Japanese Tea Ceremony. After enjoy having lunch, we then head out to Hamamatsu for the night and have Japanese style room and dinner at the hotel.

DAY 5

Dec.31st / Hamamatsu - Hakone - Fujiyama - Tokyo

This is the day when we visit the highest peak in Japan, which has just become No.17 World Heritage Site in Japan. It is has been appreciated by many Japanese for ages because of its perfect conical shape. We will go Mt.Fuji Visiter Center by bus to have a great view. Our journey will continue to Hakone, the weekend getaway from the Tokyo metropolitan area, a nature-rich resort with the beautiful Lake Ashi where we take a cruise. Also, we will take a cable car to see the volcanic activity area in Owakudani hot springs. We will check-in the Hotel in Tokyo, which means we will stay very last day in 2014!! Also, we'll visit Zojoji Temple to experience "Ninenmairi (visiting temple at the night of the new year's eve and the new year day)".

DAY 6

Jan.01st / Tokyo

January 1st is Japanese New Year's Day. Most offices and businesses are closed during the first three days of January. Families, relatives and friends gather to celebrate the new year. People eat special dishes called Osechi, specially prepared New Year's food, beautifully arranged in lacuer boxes. Many of the delicacies inside are named in hopes for the families health and prosperity. Each dish has a special meaning such as health longevity, fertility and luck.

On New Year's Day, people pay a visit to shrines to pray for happiness and good health. Let's go to Asakusa Sensoji Temple, which attract more than three million people worthippers every New Year Day. Enjoy Omikuji, drawing fortunes which show your future for the year. You can buy "good -luck charm" and the golden arrows protecting you form bad things.

The Tokyo Sky Tree is located 20 minutes from Asakusa , across from the Sumida River. This world's tallest broadcasting tower, 634-meter and has 310 shops in it.

Let's go to Akihabara, famous for its many electronics shops, in more recent years, also famous for many shops of anime and manga .

DAY 7

Jan.02nd / Tokyo

After breakfast let's take a walk for Imperial Palace for the "New Year Greeting", which the Emperor and Imperial Family members make 'special appearances' on the balcony of the palace seven times today to receive the public's New year greetings.

New year's holeday is also a time for big sales, as many shops offer their Fukubukuro, or lucky mystery bags packaged with a variety of articles possibly worth more than the purchase price, for the first day of business of this year. In front of Shibuya109, most famous shopping mall building in Tokyo, girls barter with strangers for unnecessary stuff !

DAY 8

Jan. 03rd / Tokyo - Narita (NRT) / Haneda (HND) airport

After breakfast, check out then free time until transfer to airport by shuttle bus. Time to get back home with unforgettabble memory and lots of souvenir.
